Do you have endless plans for how you want your life to be, but never seem to put your plans into action? Are you so focused on just making it through each day that you haven’t taken the time to decide where you want to be in five years or even one year from now? Me too!

So how do we create the life we want? In my opinion it all comes down to organisation, action plans, motivation and determination. My blog is my how-to; it’s about setting goals for myself and trying to achieve them. The broad areas I’ll be focusing on are listed across the top of the page – personal finance; health, fitness & wellness; home life; and career & other interests.

I’m Mel. I’m 32 and live in Sydney with my husband Phil, my daughter Lola, and my cat Bunbury.

I have a classic ‘Type A’ personality and am currently focused on trying to be the best mother, wife, daughter, sister, employee and friend I can be. Exhausting right? I know I’m not the only one on a search for balance and fulfilment. This is my journey and hopefully you can take something from it too.
